South Denmark Climate Network- discover best practice from businesses abroad
Klimakassen.dk is a climate project in South Denmark informed by four environmental networks in the region: MiljøForum Fyn (Environmental Forum Fyn) , Miljøforum Syd (Environmental Forum Syd), Grønt Netværk Sønderjylland (Green Network Jutland) and Green Network . The Climate Project is supported by the EU Regional Development Fund and the Region of Southern Denmark.
This data base holds best practice examples from companies in South Denmark who have taken steps to lower their environmental impact. Denmark has a strong reputation for being forward thinking when it comes to the environment, with SMEs developing environmentally sounds ways of working. The network aims to share experiences and examples from companies in South Denmark, to create a better basis for environmental decisions. These examples come primarily from companies that are members of one of the four environmental networks listed above.
The database is presented in Danish, but can easily be translated using Google translate and offers interesting and successful ideas for UK businesses on how best to make the shift towards a lower impact and lower cost business.
